Due to last night's power outage, files and images cannot be downloaded from iLearn (beginning around 8:45 am today). The team is working on the issue, and we hope to have it resolved as soon as possible.
Intermittent power outages cause iLearn downtime (August 25, 2009)
Intermittent power outages took place on the SF State campus, beginning around 7:15 pm today. These outages impacted network connectivity, causing brief iLearn downtime. iLearn became available again at 7:29 pm.
New iLearn Technical Requirements
Due to the iLearn upgrade, there are new technical requirements for using iLearn. Make sure you are using Mozilla Firefox version 3.0 or above or Internet Explorer version 7 or above.

iLearn Downtime Reminder August 5, 2009
Reminder:
iLearn will be down tomorrow, August 5, 2009 from 6:00am to 6:00pm for our upgrade to a new iLearn version.

Fall 2009 courses will become available in the system after the upgrade.

Academic Technology has rescheduled the maintenance window for the iLearn upgrade to:
Wednesday, August 5, 2009, 6am to 6pm
iLearn services will not be available during this time. Please check for affected due dates of iLearn activities such as quizzes and assignments and inform Summer 2009 students of any changes that may be necessary.
Campus power outage

iLearn resumed service at approximately 12:23pm today, July 17, 2009.

Upcoming Turnitin downtimes
All Turnitin services will be unavailable during the following maintenance windows:
- Saturday, July 11th 2009 from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm PDT
- Saturday, August 8th 2009 from 8:00 am to midnight PDT
Upcoming iLearn Workshops
Prepare your iLearn environment and online course materials for the Summer 2009 semester! iLearn is the official learning management system (LMS) of SF State. Use iLearn to enhance student online learning and collaboration. iLearn workshops will help participants develop an online component for their course, either to supplement face-to-face delivery, for hybrid delivery, or for complete online delivery.
Upcoming workshops include:

The workshops are free-of-charge to SF State faculty and staff.
Upcoming bi-weekly build fixes bugs and changes login server
During the routine maintenance window on Wednesday, April 29, 2009, from 6 to 8 am, Academic Technology (AT) will release the next bi-weekly iLearn build. This build will fix some bugs and link to a new login server to improve iLearn availability and user convenience. This change is completely behind the scenes, so there will be no difference in the login process for the users. If any issues arise during the switch-over, AT will continue to use the existing login protocol until after finals week.
iLearn performance issue
Between 10:30 and 11:30 am today, iLearn experienced performance issues. Users may have encountered slow or failed page loads during this time.
